Is It Possible to Get Rid of a Double Chin, Naturally?
Some people are genetically inclined to develop a double chin as they age or gain excessive weight. The musculous mylohyoideus, which is the muscle underneath the chin, loses elasticity as you get older or the area plumps up when you gain weight. If losing weight with exercise and a healthy diet doesn't help you lose your double chin, you can try exercise and massage to help you lose it naturally -- before you resort to cosmetic surgery. If your double chin is genetic, these strategies are unlikely to have a major impact, though.

Exercising your jaw area by chewing gum, or mimicking the motion, can strengthen the muscles around the chin which may help you regain elasticity and reduce the appearance of a double chin. Massage to your neck and jaw area increases circulation and blood flow to keep the area strong. Neck rolls and head tilts can also strengthen the chin and neck muscles.
Weight Loss
Obesity is one of the primary causes of a double chin. A low-calorie diet that emphasizes healthy, whole foods and increased physical activity helps you lose weight. When you lose the weight, your face and chin get slim along with the rest of your body.
