Natural Ways to Stop Hair From Falling Out
Premature or erratic hair loss can be due to a variety of issues. The key to stopping your hair from falling out prematurely is to identify the cause. Many times, hair loss is due to mechanical damage such as ripping combs and brushes through the hair or other poor hair care techniques. If your hair loss isn't due to an underlying health condition, there are natural ways to keep your hair healthy and on your head.

Scalp massage is a simple, effective way to boost scalp circulation and reduce falling hair. In a scalp massage, use the pads of your fingers to gently move the scalp in small, circular motions. You can begin at the temples or nape of your neck. There is no need to use a lot of pressure in a scalp massage; this can irritate your scalp and worsen hair fall. For more scalp and hair conditioning, dab a bit of coconut oil on your scalp or hands before massaging.
Herbal Remedies

They can also help strengthen the roots of your hair and prevent hair strands from falling out prematurely. According to the website Daily Glow, saw palmetto and ginseng are two commonly used herbs that encourage hair growth and prevent hair loss. These herbs can be prepared as a tea, strained, then poured over the hair and scalp. It's often recommended that you rinse herbal liquids from your hair with cold water to help close the hair cuticle and quickly improve hair condition.
Consume Enough Iron and B Vitamins

According to Daily Glow, an unhealthy diet can lead to premature hair loss if left unchecked. Your hair needs nutrients such as protein, iron and B vitamins to stay healthy. Although protein deficiency is relatively uncommon in western society, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that you pay attention to your protein intake and try to consume at least 46g daily. The CDC says iron deficiency can lead to poor oxygenation and circulation of the scalp. This eventually leads to bouts of hair loss. To thwart hair loss, aim to include at least three servings of green, leafy vegetables per day for optimal intake of iron and B vitamins.
