Calories in Tiramisu
Eating layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers mixed with just the right amount of sweetened mascarpone cheese custard is enough to satisfy your sweets craving. But before you go delving in to your favorite dessert, be aware of the calorie content. Indulging in an entire piece by yourself adds more calories to your diet than you may realize.

A moderate, 3-ounce chunk of tiramisu contains around 240 calories, depending on the specific recipe used. If that's not enough to scare you away, note that roughly 65 percent of those calories -- more than 155 calories -- come from the nearly 17.5 grams of fat. Another 70 calories, or 30 percent of calories, stem from around 18 grams of carbohydrates. You will get some protein from tiramisu -- but only 3 grams. That's just 12 calories from protein, which takes up a mere 5 percent of the calories.
